U.S. Pattern 1861 Cartridge Box for .69 Caliber Elongated Ball - Inventory Number: LEA 299 Complete pattern 1861 cartridge box for the .69 caliber minie ball. The box measures nearly 9” across the top of the flap and remains in very good condition with supple leather and slight crazing. The front flap still retains its original U.S. box plate with a beautiful, uncleaned patina. The interior flap and implement pouch are both complete, and the box retains both original tins with the center divider missing from one.
